Invest in yourself.

Therapy is an investment in your emotional well-being that positively impacts not only you, but your family, friends, and community. In order to avoid the restrictions that are often inherent in contracting with insurance companies (e.g. limits on duration and frequency of therapy, diagnostic requirements), I currently only accept private pay patients at this time. This allows me to offer the highest standards of care, consistent with my values as a clinician.

However, I recognize the expense can be significant. If you have an insurance company with out-of-network benefits, you may be able to receive partial reimbursement. If requested, I am happy to provide a monthly statement (SuperBill) that you may submit to your insurer for potential reimbursement.

Additionally, I offer discounted rates to Veterans, first responders, frontline healthcare workers, and older adults (65+ years).

Assessment Rates

Assessments are billed at $300/hour, inclusive of the intake and feedback appointments, test administration and interpretation, and report writing times. I am committed to tailoring an assessment battery to concisely answer your diagnostic questions, without administration of superfluous tests. You will be provided an estimate following a free initial consultation call.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute this bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-368-1019.
